Glossary
Sugar, through the sweetness that it gives the food, should remain a pleasure. A high and regular consumption of sugar is a source of dietary imbalance, which encourages weight gain and a variation in blood sugar level* for diabetics.
For this, you must avoid products rich in sugar such as honey, jam, pastries, sugared drinks (sodas, syrups), and prefer home-made cakes, buttered bread at breakfast.
You can use a sweetener* to replace the sugar and thus keep a sweet flavour for your cooking preparations with no caloric intake.
