The basic drink must be water, it is essential to our body. Other drinks must be consumed with moderation and for pleasure.
Red wine has a beneficial effect on our arteries, it protects against cardiovascular diseases* when consumed moderately (1 glass per day for women and 2 for men).
Taken in excess, it has harmful effects on our health: increase in blood triglycerides, weight gain, attacks some organs (liver, pancreas, heart).
